Since January 2015 the official name of the first head of Bashkortostan change, the president of the Republic of Belarus will be called the head of the region.

Earlier, the bill provides for a similar rate, was introduced to the Parliament by the Constitutional Court of Belarus. He called for renaming the highest official of the region of the president in the head. The deputies of the State Assembly – Kurultay RB majority vote passed a law on third reading.
This is due to the fact that the federal legislation, starting next year, prohibits called leaders of Russian regions presidents.
Republic had to choose a new name chief executive officer. The final decision was preceded by parliament for a long and active discussion of this issue in society.
Proposals received very different: the president proposes to call “Hakim”, “ilbashi”, “Azamat”. To a large extent gave everyone, including the president himself Rustem Khamitov, the option “head”, or Bashkir “bashlygy”.
