With a serious challenge faced 38-year-old driver of a trolley bus from Novosibirsk Olga Naftaeva: she had to take birth in one of the passengers directly into the trolleybus cabin during rush hour in the city center.

As told “MK” Olga Naftaeva all happened on December 25 at one of the busiest places in Novosibirsk – Kirov Street – at rush hour, around 17.00. The woman noticed that one of the passengers clearly became ill, and none of the occupants of the trolleybus no hurry to help her:
– I stopped the trolley and walked up to her to find out what was going on – says Naftaeva – I myself have three children, and I knew immediately that a woman will give birth to now – she even water has moved on. In this case, for some reason she did not even try to undress and lie down – just sat there. I put her in the seat across the cabin, unbuttoned her jacket and blouse, took off her pants. One passenger-grandfather volunteered to help me, and we brought a knife to cut maternity pants. The head of the child is already out – but it was very blue: he was not breathing. It happened due to the fact that the woman began to give birth to his sitting, even without removing a close, tight pants. Why she did it – I do not understand: the more she is not the first child, and the third.
All of childbirth – and they lasted less than an hour – Olga as she could soothe a woman in travail, and told her to make an effort to breathe deeper. When a child is entirely born, it became clear that you need something urgently to do for his resuscitation, he still was not breathing. Naftaeva remembered that in such a situation, we must first clear the baby’s mouth and nose so he could breathe; however, to decide on it once she could not, and hesitated. Grandpa assistant was much more decisively, and sucked his mouth all the spin-off, thereby clearing the child’s airway. Naftaeva itself at this time bent over to keep the kids and spanked him on the pope; cut the umbilical cord, it did not for fear of infection. Soon, a small miracle happened: Olga noticed that the baby’s tummy began to move – she began to breathe.
– The cabin trolley was cold – Olga (temperature in Novosibirsk that day was about two degrees below zero), – that baby is not cold, I took off an old work shirt and wrapped in her child. And then I was so bent in one bra and held him for half an hour, until it came “first aid” – because of the traffic jams to get to us quickly doctors could not. All this time, I spoke to his mother: “You see what is good, what a beautiful …”, but no emotion on her face I could not see.
The end of this story, which occurred on Christmas, turned far from festive doctors cut the umbilical cord and took the mother and newborn to the hospital, where she wrote a rejection of it. Now the baby expected medical examination, after which she went to the house of the baby, where her mother will take care of instead of local experts.
