At the initiative of MIA “Russia today “and under the auspices of the Russian National Commission for UNESCO for the first time in Russia will host the International Competition named after Andrei Stenina photojournalism, which aims to preserve the memory of the masters of photography.

In Stenina birthday, December 22, 2014, MIA” Russia Today ” launched a competition among professional photographers aged 18 to 33 years. The contest will run until June 3, 2015. Four nominations make it the basis of an ad three prizes for a single and a series of photographs. Special award Grand Prix will be chosen by a majority vote of the members of the jury of the best works, announced the competition in all categories.

All works submitted for the contest will be judged by an international jury. The reception of entries will start on site www.stenincontest.com on February 1 and will end April 15, 2015. The ceremony of awarding the winners of the contest, as well as the opening of the exhibition of their works will be held June 3, 2015 on one of the exhibition venues of Moscow.
