US President Barack Obama is not going to Moscow to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory. Earlier, US officials rather evasively commented on this topic, but making it clear that a trip to Russia is not on the Obama plan, but still not completely eliminating it.  “I guess you will not be surprised that President Obama does not plan a trip to Moscow,” – said Rhodes, answering the question of South Korean journalists who are interested in this subject in the light of the upcoming arrival of the celebrations leader Kim Jong-un. “But other countries make their own decisions,” – said Ben Rhodes, as quoted by Tass.

 70th anniversary of Victory will be widely celebrated in Russia May 9, 2015. Military parades in honor of the holiday will be held in 26 cities of Russia, and the main parade held on Red Square in Moscow.

 In late January, the head of the presidential administration Sergei Ivanov said that chapter 22 countries have already confirmed the arrival in Moscow in May this year to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the victory in World War II.
