Obama did not come to the celebration of Victory Day in Moscow – of Polit.ru

US President Barack Obama has arrived in Moscow for the events dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, reports Tass quoted a source in the White House staff.

On Monday, it was announced that Czech President Milos Zeman not visit Moscow during the solemn celebration of the 70th anniversary of victory over Nazi Germany in the Second World War II.

Earlier, Moscow sent an invitation to take part in the celebrations to mark the 70th anniversary of the victory over fascism in World War II leaders of all countries that were part of the anti-Hitler coalition. In December, the US State Department said that President Barack Obama has no plans in the near future to visit Russia, some Russian journalists interpreted as a refusal to visit Moscow on May 9.
