Strengthening sanctions aimed at destabilizing the situation in Ukraine – Sands – Arguments and Facts

Moscow, February 10 – AiF-Moscow.

Plans for the West to strengthen the sanctions pressure on Russia, as well as the supply of arms Kiev aimed at destabilizing the situation in Ukraine, said a spokesman for the president Dmitry Peskov, RIA Novosti reported.

Nakaune Obama and Merkel said about a possible tightening of sanctions against Russia. Obama said that if Russia “will continue to move the current rate, it will only get worse insulation as politically and economically.”


 
 
 
 

Due to the worsening conflict Ukrainian Council of the EU has added an extended list of criteria for inclusion of Russian companies in the “blac k list” of the European Union. US authorities announced sanctions against companies of defense and energy industries, as well as a number of Russian officials.
