MOSCOW, 1 Feb. /TASS/. The Russian government made the final decision to raise the retirement age, currently have discussed the specific parameters increase. This was reported by the newspaper “news”, citing two sources close to the government.
According to the publication, on the agenda are the issues of timing of the announcement of the initiative and details of future reforms. “I believe that this process can be split into two parts. One part to publish this year, another that is associated with the increase in the retirement age, move for the period after the elections of 2018,” – said one of the sources.

One of them involves raising the retirement age for women to 63 years for men to 65 years by increasing the retirement age in increments of six months every year. The second option would be the equation of the retirement age for men and women to 63 years.
