From January 1, 2017, the retirement age of Russian civil servants will begin to rise.
Previously, officials retire at the same age as all other citizens: men — 60, women at 55. And now comes into force the law under which the retirement age of this category of citizens will increase by 6 months every year. As a result, officials-men will retire at 65 and women at 63 years.
in addition, as reported RIA Novosti, the minimum length of service of the civil service entitling to pension on superannuation, will be gradually increased. The law also establishes uniform conditions for eligibility for pensions for Federal, regional and municipal servants.
