Tver Court of Moscow issued a guilty verdict oppositionist Sergey Mokhnatkin the case of the use of violence to the authorities.

The court announced the sentence with a statement of guilt in the absence of the defendant. Mr. Mokhnatkin was released from custody and is under house arrest, reports Tass.

The oppositionist was detained on December 31 last year during the campaign supporters of the leader of the “Other Russia” Eduard Limonov in defense of Article 31 of the Constitution, which guarantees freedom of assembly. Later Sergey Mohnatkina found sane and released from custody.
