 This was stated by President Vladimir Putin during his visit to Turkey. According to him, the reason was the lack of agreement on the construction of the part of Bulgaria.

 Rejection of the “South Stream” is absolutely justified, – says the first deputy chairman of the Duma Committee on Natural Resources, Environment and Ecology Valery Yazev. According to him, Russia does not bear little or no economic damage.

 Yaz added that if Europe does not interfere with the creation of the “South Stream”, Russia would build it very quickly.
