The TV channel REN TV showed video searches conducted in Yekaterinburg FSB members of the “Islamic state” (IG, banned in Russia a terrorist organization).
The video shows how during the search in the apartment of one of the detainees are electrodetonators components of improvised explosive devices, explosives, and other devices.
The video was also published on the website of TV channels “Star” and RT.
Earlier on Monday, 8 January, FSB announced the arrest in Yekaterinburg seven members of the “Islamic state” ready “resonant acts of terrorism” in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sverdlovsk region using improvised explosive devices.
FSB press service stated that as a result of searches the addresses of residence detainees were found “laboratory for the manufacture of improvised explosive devices, explosives, electrodetonators, firearms, grenades, components of IEDs and literature extremist».
The group management member of the “Islamic state”, on a Turkey, noted in the FSB. In the department we found that after the terrorist attacks militants had planned to go to Syria to take part in hostilities as part of the IG.
With regard to the detainees were prosecuted under st.205 (a terrorist act), 222 (illegal arms trafficking) and st.222.1 (illegal possession of explosives) of the Criminal Code.
